Question for allofmp3.com users

I am doing my first download from allofmp3.com using their Explorer 2.0. On each song, I am getting over and over "Service not available!" and "Socket Error 10061! Connection refused." The songs are downloading into the appropriate folder as .mp3.downloading files. Is this normal? Being my first time I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. I've sent a question in about it to tech support but figured I'd ask here too.

I'm on a basic DSL connection behind a little wireless router, no big security.

Thanks...

When I submit a purchase from the homepage I then open the explorer page and the downloads appear in order and download in order with the speed on the right. A little icon appears in the tray on the bottom right and spins while they are downloading and when it's finished it says download complete.

Thanks for the info...question though. How do I know when my songs are ready for download? I guess I don't understand how this online encoding stuff works.

EDIT: NM I see that if it is in the MyDownloads it is ready. I just can't connect to their download server for some reason. I'm trying another album with the same result. I wonder if my ISP is not allowing access to their network or something. I'm on Verizon.

You just submit the final encode option. Then you open up the allofmp3 explorer window. The download page should be open with your songs to download in it and the download progress should show up. The little icon in the taskbar is the explorer icon. rightclick on it and open it at any time.

The link is pointing to an IP address of 195.90.146.31. I cannot ping this address at all...however, I can ping the other addresses of allofmp3.com. Could it just be down?

Anyway, I'm kind of just brainstorming at this point...don't mind me.

how fast does the explorer download songs? I've never used it, as I've only used Flashget.

My speed is in the 90-140 kBps (kilobytes) zone on average. The songs they give out for free are VERY slow, though, so don't go by their speed when testing it out.
