Transfer speeds

Some of you know my anticipation for my Dell to come tomorrow, so I hope you'll excuse a stupid question.

How fast will transfers to the Dell be on USB 2.0?

Thanks in advance.

FAST! Most can transfer a cd in seconds. Like 50 times faster that USB 1.

i had about 3 gigs of music (500 songs), and i used musicmatch, it took about 3-4 mins, it was crazy fast, but if you use dj explorer it will go faster, because MM transfer speeds are slower compared to the other ones.

30gig per sec?!?! That would be "freakin' fast!" And here I am happy with the ~50 megs per sec I'm getting.

Okay, I apologize for my ignorance, but how do I know which type of USB I have? Also, my jukebox seems to transfer files extremely slowly (900 mb / hour?!) This seems very slow. What am I doing wrong. Also, when I use the "sync" feature, I don't think it is "sync-ing" in the same sense that a Palm Pilot does. What's really going on? Thanks.

WMP pauses between each track, it's almost like it does one transfer tranaction for each track instead of one transaction per group of tracks.

if you have usb 1.1, when you plug your dj in it would say "High speed device plugged into a non-highspeed port"
