New Music Download Service For Canada

I was just over on the Futureshop website (its like a Best Buy, actually owned by Best Buy), and on the front page, there was a picture of the new music download service that it has. Its called Bonefire and its $1.19 for a song, and $11.99 for an ablum (Canadian), and it seems to me they have a very good selection. I just thought I'd tell my fellow Canuks about this new site. I'm happy that theres finally a legal music download site for Canada, because MusicMatch doesn't work. I won't need to go, usually to Futureshop, to get my cds, I can get them on the internet, for 3 bucks cheaper!

I'm doubting if any of the U.S. record labels/artists/etc see a dime from this site.

I think it's great to see a truly legit Canadian download service like Futureshop come along.

Quote from article that makes my points from above:

You can legally buy/download mp3-songs from this site if it does not breaks the law the national legislation of the country in which you will be during that moment.
This quote from ROMS shows that my assumption is correct, and it is technically illegal to download from allofmp3 in most countries.

But, allofmp3 is a member of roms, which in turn is supposed to pay the artists. So therefore allofmp3 has no need to directly pay the aritsts. With this service keep in mind that in Russia cds only cost about 3bux so therein its pretty much the same cost propportianly to itunes in the states. Its just like buying russian software off ebay.
