I have been ripping with Windows Media Player for quite a long time. When I got my DJ20 last ween and copied my library into the Musicmatch, it did not read the track numbers so all tracks were playing in Alphabetical order. QUITE ANNOYING! I made the decision to go ahead and spend the 20 Bucks for the Musicmatch upgrade and the Super tagging took care of it all (about 17 gig worth) in a little over an hour. It beat the alternative which was to go song by song and manually plug in the track numbers.

Now that I am looking at it...It updated the tags...but on the DJ it is still playing in Alpha order. I am gonna request a refund from MM (FAT CHANCE)and just go ahead and get dudebox...it seems that there are no easy fixes to this.

I've noticed that no matter what you do, whenever you put .wma tracks onto the dj, they are always arranged in alphabetical order rather than in order by track numbers. Try ripping your music using Musicmatch and make sure it is set to .mp3 format. See if that works before you buy Dudebox.

using the Dell Explorer i was able to fix my problem. yes i had to manually do it, but even for the 500 songs i have it only took me about 30 minutes to complete. a little bit of work but now it works fine. plays in order of the CD. i suggest Dell Explorer.
My Question on Dudebox: does it automatically arrange the songs in order of the Cd or what? if it does, it might be worth my 25$$
