fm transmitter jack is screwy

why is it that after 2 weeks having my irock fm transmitter plugged into the dj's headphone jack that i lose balance of my speakers in my truck (03 silverado) kind of like when its not plugged in all the way and u only hear sound out of one side of speakers and you have to twist and turn the plug to get the full connection? now when i hit a bump it gets out of whack again...its like it wore out in 2 weeks..is it just a cheap male jack ??

Yeah, you need to figure out if the problem is with the transmitter or the headphone jack. If it's the jack, you'll need to contact Dell and get a replacement DJ.

Gold is definately better. Everything that has gold plugs always advertises. Dunno why it's better though... I think that gold provides better connectivy?? Better metal than silver for transmitting whatever the headphones transmit.

yea, gold is best for making the best connection and therefore the best sound, gold also lasts longer apparently

Gold is better for audio/video connections because, scientifically, gold has a looser hold on its electrons (electrons are how all signals are transmitted), which makes it get cleare sound. I'm not sure of how using a gold headphones in a silver jack effects quality. (Dell DJ has silver jack, but gold plug on headphones).
