I wonder if i could use my Iomega Peerless Drive (20Gb) to back up my DJ20?

You mean without going through a computer? I don't think there's any mechanism for doing that. But you could move them from your DJ to the drive with DJ Explorer, I'm sure.

USB-to-USB is doable

I was researching new MP3 players the other day and saw a product that will do usb-to-usb (as long as you don't need to install the driver). I forgot the name of the product right now. I'll try to find out - I want to get one. People with Archos Jukebox can do transfer pictures from digital cameras and other USB storages.

Oh.. hehe.. forgot to mention you don't need a computer to do usb-to-usb transfer. That device will power the two usb devices. Very cool.
