Top 5 Bands

My usual icebreaker is: what are your 5 favorite bands. I wanna see what some of you guys say. You can never tell by one pick what type of music a person likes, but if you get the first 5, you can get a good taste of what they like. So, here's my list:

1. Pearl Jam
2. The Who
3. The Beatles
4. Foo Fighters
5. Collective Soul

Go ahead and laugh at my #5, but I stand by my choices.

Jeff

I assume you mean rock-oriented since I'd have a separate top 5 for New Age, Metal, etc.

My top 5 rock / alt-rock bands of all-time (so far in life):

1. Echo & the Bunnymen
2. Marillion
3. The Beatles
4. Big Country
5. Pink Floyd

I think if I was stranded on an island with only recordings of those 5 I'd be just fine.

No offense to anyone but I just cannot stand the Beatles. Maybe I'm too young but I hate their music.

"That's all I have to say about that."
