Upgrading MusicMatch

Ok well my DJ hasnt arrived yet, but Im just getting prepared. I want to upgrade to MM 8.2. I heard that you could get the tracks to get transfered in track order rather than alphabeticaly. Should I download it from dell.com and put everything I had in 8.1 into 8.2 or is there a way i can upgrade 8.1 to 8.2 keeping all the stuff I have put onto MusicMatch in tact?

Cool my experience

I just received a DJ20. Like you I prepared a bunch of tracks using MusicMatch. I had version 8.2 and upgraded it to JukeBox Plus; $20 to vastly increase ripping speed was worth it.

When I got my DJ, I ended up installing the software supplied and it gave me MM 8.1. I have had no problems with MusicMatch per se. However, I lost track numbers when downloading tracks to the DJ with MusicMatch Device Manager.

I solved it by:
1) installing the patch from Dell, file called r74212.exe that addresses track order problem
2) also installing Dell DJ Explorer from the Dell web site and used it to download to the DJ. DJ Explorer is a nice upgrade, it uses the familiar drag-and-drop you are used to from Windows and works fine.

I downloaded 210 albums, over 2600 tracks last night, no problems after doing the above.
