Talking In line remote..lol

I have to laugh at someone needing a remote for thier DJ unless they have a setup for thier car. I think it should be an option and come with a car set up package from dell.

I don't like how you need to plug an input into the remote in order to use it.

This makes me not be able to use it in my car. Think about it: aux line-in, cassette adaptor or FM transmitter. They would all need to be plugged into the remote if you wanted to use the remote in your car.

ANNOYING

yeah, doesn't that stink? I have mine in my car, and wanted to use the remote, but couldn't cuz everything connects at the remote location. Who thought of that crappy design? It would be nice if someone came up with some adapter to be able to plug both the remote and output cord right at the dj location instead at the remote.

I dont see why u need a remote for the car, with the holder there its right infront of you and I just use the buttons. Remote is better for when walking around and you dont feel like pulling the dj out of the pocket to change track or whatever, but its not so portable having to stuff it in your pocket with the earbuds when not in use.. so I just use the DJ without a remote.

its nice because you can hide the dj in the car, and never have to touch it. you can start and stop, change songs via the remote. without even taking the dj out of hiding. i guess if you wanted to listen to a particular song or album you would need to see the screen, but I am normally in shuffle mode anyway.

The remote takes up more room, just take the DJ out and use it as your remote...lol. Laziness...the emotion that has swept our world for ages.

Your right, thats what I do now and its working out fine. I just thought that if I had the remote, i wouln't have to worry to put it away when I leave the car. With the remote, I could just drop it to the floor. And there would be less wear and tear on the dj if I only needed to handle the remote.

Your putting more wear and tear on your remote, lol. And there is a better chance it is gonna get stolen if u leave the remote on the floor, someone will see it and break into your car. When I was like 8, i had a model car in a shoebox, guess what? Taken.
