Dell DJ Site - In line remote..lol

This makes me not be able to use it in my car. Think about it: aux line-in, cassette adaptor or FM transmitter. They would all need to be plugged into the remote if you wanted to use the remote in your car. ANNOYING

yeah, doesn't that stink? I have mine in my car, and wanted to use the remote, but couldn't cuz everything connects at the remote location. Who thought of that crappy design? It would be nice if someone came up with some adapter to be able to plug both the remote and output cord right at the dj location instead at the remote.

Remote is better for when walking around and you dont feel like pulling the dj out of the pocket to change track or whatever, but its not so portable having to stuff it in your pocket with the earbuds when not in use.. so I just use the DJ without a remote.

pfink Registered User Join Date: Mar 2004 Player: Posts: 26	its nice because you can hide the dj in the car, and never have to touch it. you can start and stop, change songs via the remote. without even taking the dj out of hiding. i guess if you wanted to listen to a particular song or album you would need to see the screen, but I am normally in shuffle mode anyway.

The remote takes up more room, just take the DJ out and use it as your remote...lol. Laziness...the emotion that has swept our world for ages.

Your right, thats what I do now and its working out fine. I just thought that if I had the remote, i wouln't have to worry to put it away when I leave the car. With the remote, I could just drop it to the floor. And there would be less wear and tear on the dj if I only needed to handle the remote.

And there is a better chance it is gonna get stolen if u leave the remote on the floor, someone will see it and break into your car. When I was like 8, i had a model car in a shoebox, guess what? Taken.
