you might want to go to dell now, since they are offering $50 off and free 3-5 day shipping. that should be your best deal.

I just ordered a new DJ20 and then saw the refurbs. I got a new one for $241 and free shipping. The free shipping ends tommorrow. I signed up for a premiere account and they offered a 3% discount which is why the price dropped from $249 to $241. It should be here Friday!

I got my DJ on ebay. I paid $200 for it. At the time Dell was selling them for $250 so I was pretty happy. I bought it brand new from some guy and I have no complaints.

i was thinkin about those....but one of the major reasons why i bought it directly from dell was to get a 1 year waranty, which i think is a big deal since i'd hate to have this thing break on me and be useless within the first year

The refurbs come with a full warranty, same as a new unit. Only diff is you have 15 days instead of 30 days if you want to return it for a refund. Dell refurbs are often a great deal because of the full warranty. Once a unit is returned, Dell can't sell it as new so it is sold as a refurb. Either there was a problem which they fixed or someone didn't like it. Either way it probably wasn't used very much before being returned. If I had known about the refurbs, I would have bought one instead and saved a few bucks.
