I have one...it's well worth the money, I got mine through Belkin.com with their 50% off coupon code.
I assume once it's finished charging that it automatically stops charging and keeps it running just like if you were using a notebook and it was plugged in, once the battery charges it just powers the device. Erik

I bought other things so $12 shipping wasn't bad. As far as notebooks go, you should be able to plug in the notebook without killing the battery. As far as batteries go, they will all die sooner or later, the more cycles you use the quicker it will die...I really doubt leaving it plugged in will kill it any quicker then using it. Erik
